Positive: The guy was a sweetheart, and didn't mind at all that it was nearly midnight when I checked in, or when I rang the doorbell thinking it was a light switch. Also I didn't feel remotely unsafe, despite being on my own. It was great having an affordable room of my own, (as I'm a bit long in the tooth to be staying in a dormitory) and having access to a kitchen (fridge, tap water).

Negative: If only I had known before booking, that booking.com would offer me a discount on a hire car afterwards, I would have chosen somewhere with parking available. Parking was a nightmare! It would have been helpful to know in advance that the property is inside a gated area of several properties.
