Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A new, clean and stylish house with a great terrace (view of the new volcano and the ocean). Well equipped with everything for a comfortable stay, including heating and fans (the weather was perfect during my stay so I didn't need either, but I can imagine them coming in handy). The location is perfect for exploration, practically in the middle of the island but it's still a relatively quiet rural area. You can drive to a nice beach or a great hiking trail within 15-20 minutes. Los Llanos is a 10 minutes drive, but there is also a couple of very nice restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise you will need a car, of course, but parking at the property is super easy.

Negative: Very small things, really: - The kitchen is modern and well equipped with cooking utensils, but basics like salt, pepper, sugar were missing. - In my unit (41D) the WiFi was not working. I'm sure the host would have fixed it immediately if I had asked them, but I decided to enjoy the digital detox... :) - It would be nice to have a place to empty the trashbin. The hosts have emptied it after a week, but that's not really enough (it's a small bin, gets full after a few days).
