For guests, there is a large courtyard framed by colorful plants, parking, a shared wood-fired oven, a shared above-ground PVC pool, and the rest— centuries-old olive trees with trunks exceeding 2 meters in diameter, almond trees, prickly pears, and many fruit trees (cherry, fig, pear, apricot, etc.) that (depending on the season) guests can taste by picking them themselves. As for the prickly pear—a delicious fruit that ripens in July and August—there is an abundance of it, so much so that guests are welcome to take some home as souvenirs, free of charge. <br>The house, located on our farm, immerses guests in the farmer’s love for the environment, nature, and the land. The farm where the property is situated has been passed down through several generations of farmers (records date back to 1938), and we are committed to preserving the dedication, sacrifices, and traditions of our grandparents to pass them on to our grandchildren.<br>Within a few kilometers, you can visit not only traditional farmhouses where authentic products are sold directly to the public, but also caves, the typical Messapian “specchie” (watchtowers from the Messapian era), and, of course, the many civil and religious monuments in the neighboring towns, in addition to the regular services held in the nearby little church.<br>A residential countryside that remains populated even in winter, located in the area between Ceglie Messapica, Francavilla Fontana, San Michele Salentino, and Villa Castelli, surrounded by enormous centuries-old olive trees, trulli, and abundant nature mixed with seasonal fruits.
