Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was great, on a quiet street but very close to town and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and overall the apartment had good facilities for cooking, laundry, and pretty much everything needed to make it feel like a home.

Negative: The check-in instructions were very onerous to understand, a simple message would have been sufficient, however they send really long messages multiple times and it gets quite confusing when the actual check in process is simple. It seemed that previous occupants had left leftover food supplies in the kitchen but it was not clear what was communal and what was not which led to some confusion with others in the apartment. Same with the bins - some labels on everything(shelves, bins etc) would be good. Also, with the town being so sandy, the inside of the apartment gets quite sandy also due to other occupants wearing outside shoes indoors. There was a very dusty broom on the porch but would have been helpful to have a vaccum cleaner (or a cleaner broom and dustpan for inside use only) so we could clean the sand in the inside areas ourselves. In general, while the place gets cleaned each time, it could be cleaner as the town itself is quite dusty - it was obvious that some of the harder to reach areas are rarely cleaned as there was quite a bit of dust behind our bed, on the lights, windows etc. Please note that when you message the number for any help during your stay, the reply is generated by a virtual assistant (AI chatbot) before the message is reviewed by a real person. So it may seem like you are getting replied to straight away but you don't get any meaningful answers until a real person replies to your question (as I experienced when asking about whether there was a broom to clean the communal areas as per above). Lastly, the reason I didn't score this property any higher was because when we were checking out, the cleaners were waiting around for us to leave for about an hour before our check out time which made it feel uncomfortable.

Summary: Good stay but some things could be improved.
