Positive: The apartment is directly on the boardwalk and has the entire front side (living room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms) facing the most magnificent view of the sea. The place had all the necessary amenities for us to enjoy a week's holiday.

Negative: It may have been written in the fine-print on the booking, but when we went to collect the keys, we had a €250 security deposit held on our credit card, and were told we had to clean the kitchen and empty all the bins before we checked-out in order to get our deposit back. That's all well and good because I can understand the risk involved in renting out a place that isn't being checked and cleaned everyday, but it wasn't inexpensive to rent. That, and all the tables in the common area are made of glass. This makes it hard to really get comfortable. Everything I set down on the tables felt like I was going to leave a scratch or mark or chip. It looks great when you first walk in, but the furniture was just not practical. In fact, even the dishes were all delicate china-like pieces. If you have a few drinks you could feel a bit precarious.
