Positive: The host Carmelo was amazing 10 out of 10, nothing was too much trouble for him, he answered our messages promptly and resolved all issues. The roof terrace was a nice place to have breakfast as the morning sun rose. the apartment was spacious, and Carmelo had left a welcome present of wine and a fruit basket.

Negative: after reading other reviews we though it would be peaceful however we didn't find this. firstly our room one is the room everybody has to pass to leave the accommodation. whilst we stayed some of the guests were out until between 3-5am and as our bedroom window was next to the corridor we were awakened five out of seven nights, combining this with the people stopping next door who awoke every morning at 7.30am the proceeded to take there bicycles out in their cycling shoes on the marble corridor added to our lack of sleep. The dogs (approximately 6+) in kennels in the valley behind the property also made for a non relaxing time during the day, if you tried to relax on the roof terrace, compounded with all the surrounding properties having several dogs, definetly not a place for peace and quiet. The rooms have no balconies so the limited access time to the roof terrace is restrictive, it should be open in the mornings from 8am allowing people to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.
